Gotherington is part of the parish of Woolstone with Gotherington and Oxenton, in the larger benefice centred on Bishop's Cleeve. Although Gotherington has the majority of the people it has never had an Anglican church building: but residents of Gotherington play a full part in the life of our churches, particularly at Woolstone and Oxenton.
Gotherington does, however, have a Free Church building. The worshipping community moved on a few years ago, but we're delighted to have re-opened the building as Gotherington Church Centre. We use it for a variety of events including, usually, Sunday Worship at 11.15 on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
1st Sunday at 11.15 - Parish Communion at Oxenton
2nd Sunday at 11.15 - Parish Communion at Woolstone
3rd Sunday at 08.00 - Communion (BCP) at Oxenton
and at 11.15 - All Age Family Service at Gotherington Church Centre
4th Sunday at 11.15 - Parish Communion at Woolstone
5th Sunday - as announced
The photograph here shows Gotherington Village Hall, where we used to worship before we moved to the Church Centre.
